We spent our days on the beach, hiding under umbrellas and reading and then swimming in the crystal clear sea to cool down. It was divine.
We hired a canoe and headed out around the point. It was a great way to explore the craggy cliffs. As we paddled along, little fish kept jumping out of the water in front of us; it was as if they were skimming themselves along the surface!
This cormorant (is it a ‘scarf’ in Shetland?) let us get really close before it flew away. I’d love to do some sea kayaking; this was a really fun way to explore the coastline.
